See before and after photos showing how Dr. Lamperti was able to tightening this patient's droopy left lower eyelid and improve her lid position and chronically irritated eye using a lateral tarsal strip technique

This patient had noted many years of chronic left eye dryness and irritation. She was found to have severely droopy lower eyelids with a lot of lower eyelid exposure and retraction. Dr. Lamperti recommended a lateral tarsal strip procedure for her left eye only since she didn't have any right eye symptoms.

Lateral tarsal strip surgery involves placement of an incision at the corner of the eyelid (in a natural crow's foot crease). From there the lower lid tendon is released, trimmed and secured to the side of the eye socket bone with a permanent suture.

In the oblique view after photo you'll be able to see how well the access incision typically heals.
