Cleft Lip Revision With Dermis-Fascia Grafting And V-Y Advancement Combined With Cleft Rhinoplasty
This patient had a prior left cleft lip repair as an infant. She was interested in a second stage upper lip revision to improve her lip notching while at the same time underoing cleft lip rhinoplasty. To improve the patient's lip contour Dr. Lamperti performed a V-Y advancement (recruiting tissue from the inner lip area) while adding additional lip volume using a dermis-fascia graft harvested from behind the patient's ear.
