Combined Upper and Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty to Remove Excess Eyelid Skin and Bags Under the Eyes

This Seattle blepharoplasty patient came to Dr. Lamperti looking to improve the appearance of her eyes. She had noticed signs of aging around her eyes that she wished to address with eyelid tuck surgery. Dr. Lamperti performed a combination procedure to address both the upper and lower eyelids. He trimmed the excess upper eyelid skin looking to improve the patient's asymmetric upper eyelid appearance. To treat the lower eyelid bags he performed a transconjunctival (using a hidden incision on the inside of the lower eyelid) blepharoplasty to remove the herniated fat pads. To improve the patient's redundant lower eyelid skin he performed a conservative lower eyelid skin pinch using an incision placed just underneath the lower eyelid lashes. In the patient's 6 month postoperative photos you can appreiate the much improve upper eyelid show, smoother lower eyelid contour and improve lower eyelid skin redundancy.
